چکیده
Abstract Purpose Lactobacillus reuteri is one of the most largely studied human-commensal bacteria and widely used as a form probiotics. Safety probiotics has become increasingly important for human consumption due to increasing health-concerns in food industry. In this study, safety L. IDCC 3701 isolated from breast milk was thoroughly investigated. Methods Whole-genome sequence analysis performed identify antibiotic resistance toxigenicity 3701. Phenotypic such minimal inhibitory concentration, β-hemolysis, extracellular enzyme activity, production biological amines L/D-lactate, Finally, acute oral toxicity test access safety. Results Although multiple resistances gentamicin kanamycin were observed 3701, it revealed that these are intrinsic not transferable through whole-genome analysis. addition, various phenotypic concerning hemolysis, D-lactate did show any negative results. harbors histidine decarboxylase gene, no biogenic detected. exhibited evidence according an vivo study. Conclusion Our findings demonstrate considered be safe based on silico, vitro studies.

Comparative Genome Analysis of Lactobacillus reuteri and Lactobacillus fermentum Reveal a Genomic Island for Reuterin and Cobalamin Production
Lactobacillus reuteri is a heterofermentative lactic acid bacterium that naturally inhabits the gut of humans and other animals. The probiotic effects of L. reuteri have been proposed to be largely associated with the production of the broad-spectrum antimicrobial compound reuterin during anaerobic metabolism of glycerol. We determined the complete genome sequences of the reuterin-producing L. ...

a novel and ultra low cost isfet electrode and measurement system was designed for isfet application and detection of hydronium, hydrazinium and potassium ions. also, a measuring setup containing appropriate circuits, suitable analyzer (advantech board), de noise reduction elements, cooling system and pc was used for controlling the isfet electrode and various characteristic measurements. the t...
Lactobacillus reuteri-specific immunoregulatory gene rsiR modulates histamine production and immunomodulation by Lactobacillus reuteri.
Human microbiome-derived strains of Lactobacillus reuteri potently suppress proinflammatory cytokines like human tumor necrosis factor (TNF) by converting the amino acid l-histidine to the biogenic amine histamine. Histamine suppresses mitogen-activated protein (MAP) kinase activation and cytokine production by signaling via histamine receptor type 2 (H2) on myeloid cells. Investigations of the...
متن کاملGenomic and genetic characterization of the bile stress response of probiotic Lactobacillus reuteri ATCC 55730.
Probiotic bacteria encounter various stresses after ingestion by the host, including exposure to the low pH in the stomach and bile in the small intestine. The probiotic microorganism Lactobacillus reuteri ATCC 55730 has previously been shown to survive in the human small intestine. To address how L. reuteri can resist bile stress, we performed microarray experiments to determine gene expressio...
متن کاملAntibiotic Resistance in Lactobacillus reuteri and Lactobacillus plantarum
Lactic acid bacteria (LAB) may act as reservoirs of antibiotic resistance genes that can be transferred via the food chain or within the gastrointestinal tract to pathogenic bacteria. This thesis provides data required for assessing the potential risk of using antibiotic resistant strains of the LAB species Lactobacillus reuteri and Lactobacillus plantarum as food processing aids or probiotics....
